PREPARE FOR THE FUTURE WITH CONFIDENCE
Join us September 8 -12, 2025 for the Mastering Foresight: Scenario-Based Planning Certification Program: a practical, five-day virtual experience that will equip you to design and lead a strategic foresight program using scenario-based planning.
Led by Robin Champ, former Chief of Foresight at the U.S. Secret Service and Department of Defense, this program is designed for leaders who need to think ahead, anticipate disruption, and build future-ready strategies.
If you work in or around government strategy, the IASP Government Community of Practice (Gov CoP) is your space to connect, learn, and lead. From federal agencies to local municipalities, this group brings together public sector professionals committed to improving how government plans, executes, and adapts in an ever-changing world.
Led by Robin Champ (LBL Strategies, former Chief of Strategy at the U.S. Secret Service and DoD) and Nikkie Gomez-Whaley (Arizona Governor’s Office), the Gov CoP features engaging guest speakers, real-world case studies, and practical tools tailored to the public sector. With over 40 years of combined experience, Robin and Nikkie create an inclusive, actionable learning environment.
Whether you're in government, work alongside it, or are simply strategy-curious, you're welcome here.
The Gov CoP is currently on summer break but returns this September with new programming. All 2025 sessions are free for individuals with a .gov or .mil email address.

SUPPORTING GOVERNMENT AGENCIES WITH STRATEGIC FORESIGHT AND MANAGEMENT
“Our strategy plan was approved, implemented, and funded. Just kidding. This is government- we’re still on step one.”
At LBL Strategies, we know that moving from strategy to execution in government isn’t always a straight line. That’s why we’ve built our public sector consulting services to be practical, flexible, and rooted in real-world government experience.
Whether you're with a federal agency, a state office, or a local department, our veteran-owned team has worked with organizations like NASA, the VA, the DoD, and more—helping them align strategy, build foresight capacity, and drive measurable progress.
And yes- we’re on the GSA Schedule, making it easier than ever to partner with us.
The International Association for Strategy Professionals (IASP) develops and maintains globally recognized certification programs for strategy professionals.
To ensure these programs remain relevant and aligned with international standards, IASP regularly reassesses the roles, duties, and tasks required for competent practice.
We invite you to take part in this important process by helping validate the blueprint for the Strategic Planning Professional (SPP) certification.
Your input will directly contribute to maintaining a high-quality, credible certification program and support our mission to elevate the professional practice of strategic planning and management worldwide.
If you experience any issues with the survey, please contact Dean Black at certification@strategyassociation.org.
